HISTORIC FERNANDINA BEACH DOWNTOWN

Fernandina Beach is a Victorian seaport rich with tales of pirates, smugglers and gunrunners, and is the birthplace of the American shrimping industry. Explore the town's charming 50-block district of carefully preserved historic homes and buildings. Visit the oldest surviving hotel in Florida, the Florida House Inn, built in 1857…and the Palace Saloon, Florida's oldest continuously operating pub. At Fort Clinch, the past comes alive when Civil War buffs re-enact daily life around the fort.

The original site of downtown Fernandina Beach was at the Old Town area, which is the last Spanish city platted in the Western Hemisphere and still exists today. Later, the hub of the town moved to its present location when David Yulee established the railroad that ran from Fernandina Beach to Cedar Key.

About Nicole Anderson

For more than 20 years, Nicole Anderson has called Amelia Island home, and her love for the community runs deep. As a licensed real estate sales executive with Amelia Island Real Estate Services, Nicole brings a wealth of local knowledge, genuine care, and a refined understanding of the area’s diverse real estate market. She specializes in luxury and coastal properties, guiding her clients with insight, discretion, and a commitment to excellence. Nicole believes that buying or selling a home is more than a transaction, it is a pivotal life moment. Her approach is built on listening with intention, cultivating trust, and creating long-term relationships that extend well beyond the closing table.

Before her career in real estate, Nicole owned and operated a beloved children’s boutique on the island. Today, she and her husband continue to invest in the community as owners of three popular local restaurants. Together, they have built a life centered on family, connection, and service- values that are at the heart of Nicole’s work as a REALTOR®.
Nicole and her husband are the proud parents of two children. Their son recently graduated from Florida State University and is beginning a career in finance, while their daughter is a student at Fernandina Beach High School, where Nicole can often be found cheering her on at basketball games.

Nicole and her family are also active members of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, where faith and community continue to shape their daily lives. Outside of work, Nicole treasures time spent along Amelia Island’s beaches with their labradoodle Charlie, supporting local businesses, and gathering with friends and family. Grateful for the island’s unmatched beauty and sense of community, she is passionate about helping others find not just a home, but a place where their own stories can unfold.
